Po-po-po-pom! This simple, four-note motif, representing destiny in progress, embodies all of Beethoven’s musical genius. Thomas Hengelbrock conducts the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble to create a dialogue between the iconic Fifth Symphony and the legendary arias of Così fan tutte and Don Giovanni, performed by Véronique Gens and Stanislas de Barbeyrac at the Théâtre de l’Archevêché.
